FNAC, as Gold Sponsor, put in an appearance in the National Geographic’s live experiment, which gathered scientists, explorers, and adventurers, with the purpose of inspiring everyone to have a broader perspective on the planet and on humankind, in order to act today for a better and greater future for everyone.
At the National Geographic Summit 2017, there were three internationally famous speakers, who brought very important themes that represent huge challenges of our modern days: The Human Condition in an Interconnected World, by Jodi Cobb; The Global Food Waste, by Tristram Stuart; and, finally, Nature, Animals and Cultures – Reasons for Hope, by Jane Goodall.
The scariest night of the year was organized by FOX. Considered by many "to be the best Halloween party in the country", the 9th edition of FOX Horror Stories - Halloween Party took place on October 31st, starting at 11 pm at the Tapada da Ajuda Exhibition Palace in Lisbon.
In 2019, in addition to many scares, there was also a lot of music. With the presence of DJ Vasco Alves, Supa Squad and DJ Kamala, it was possible to spend a night full of excitement with Halloween spirit. In addition to music, it was possible to experience a night
FOX and Renault have again joined to create a Christmas spot, this time using only the new Renault Zoe sounds. Similar to the movie produced in 2012, with a Renault Clio, which "played" the song "Jingle Bells", in 2019 comes the turn of the electric vehicle of this brand.

Porto hosted the exhibition “A Century and So Much: National Geographic 130 Years”, which will be held from October 18 2019 to July 19 2020, at Porto Museum of Natural History and Science. This space hosted this unprecedented show in Portugal to celebrate over a century of history from one of the most iconic organizations in the world.
With photographs and unique objects from the history of the National Geographic Society (NGS), but also from Portuguese exploration. This exhibition highlights the importance of research and exploration in the most diverse areas of science and technology.
